In an incredibly competitive market, where these on-demand apps would have surprised and delighted the average customer a few years ago (groceries delivered to your door? Never!), companies have to think outside the box for ways to build communities and excite their users. What better way to encourage community than by providing offers their ambassadors can’t help but share with their friends? Rather than forcing referrals to increase user base, these on-demand apps offer up tangible rewards users actually want to pass on. Everyone wins!
